Our Mission

Peak to Peak Leadership is an organization committed to igniting intellectual inquiry and a dialogue that honors and explores each participant’s moral values as well as those that underpin just societies.

We design and deliver seminars that encourage our participants to ask important questions of themselves, their communities and their leaders so that they begin a journey of a mindful and examined life.

Our participants gain a deep understanding of themselves so that they can lead with compassion, integrity and a moral compass.

Our Vision

Making communities better by grounding leaders in timeless values and connecting them to urgent current day challenges so that they can become more effective change agents.

University Students

Since 2014, we have worked with the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business. We have also developed programs for Colorado State University.

Discover More

We began with the flagship Leeds Scholars program and, more recently, have added programs for the EXCEL Bridge Program, Diverse Scholars, Dean’s Leadership Fellows and several Leadership classes. We create customized curricula that dovetail with existing programs and are tailored to support each organization’s most important goals.

We have also led sessions on Semester at Sea, a college study abroad program currently hosted by Colorado State University. Discussions to expand that program are underway.

High School Students

We helped develop LEAD Boulder, a high school leadership program co-sponsored by the Boulder Valley School District, the YMCA of Northern Colorado, and Colorado University.

Discover More

The two-year program exposes high school juniors and seniors to leadership practices and ideas. Our sessions help them explore their values so that they develop into effective, principle-driven leaders.

We are also finalizing curriculum for the Dawson School in Lafayette, Colorado and will begin programs in 2020.

Middle School Students

Our initial seminar program began at the Boulder Country Day Middle School in 2011. Since then, we have worked with students, enabling them to have deep conversations and develop their own set of values to consider when facing important decisions as they move into high school.

At Boulder Country Day School, our curriculum overlays on the school’s motto, “Respect yourself, respect others, and take responsibility for your actions” and includes the ten character traits as outlined in the IB learner profiles with specific themes in each grade level. The program culminates in an exercise which results in every student finishing middle school with their own values statement.

Continuing Education

We have been invited to moderate seminars for professional organizations. Our text-based model has been used to strengthen teams, create deeper trust among participants, as well as explore the alignment of personal values with those of an organization.

With a focus on asking questions, rather than providing answers, we have fostered an environment where professionals explore their own values and understand each other on a deeper level. The sessions allow them to gain a better understanding and a deeper awareness of how values influence their decision-making process.
